Pre-requisites
Before running an install, please see the following article for hardware and software specifications
To run the AutoVue web application, it is necessary to obtain a license key Lifecycle Technology.
Request a license key - providing Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of the AutoVue server where the application is to be installed
Download the software
Installation software can be obtained from Lifecycle Technology.
Installation Instructions
Copy the install file to the server
Run the installer 'As Administrator'
Click Yes to accept the UAC prompt
Install the Java JRE (Required only for the installation and any subsequent application updates)
For a 'clean install' click No
Note: this allows searching for Glassfish in all system drives of the server if an installation was previously completed in a non-standard location - it can take a long time to complete!
Click Next
Accept the software license agreement and click Next
Choose the installation directory
Note: it is recommended to only change the installation drive
Enter the license code provided by Lifecycle Technology
Enter the Service account username
Note: format must be yourDomain\UserName
The username must be a local administrator account on the server
Enter the service account password
Click Test to validate the credentials
Test the UserName and password combination passed - Click Ok
Choose the location of the configured SapLogon.ini file
Enter the SAP AutoVue communication username and password
Enter the SAP System ID and SAP Client for the connection
Click Next
Enter Your Company Name
Choose Complete Installation
Click Install
Click No
The following installation process will continue
Click Finish
